Grant Awards 2023
Organisations who received a Community Fund Grant in 2023.
Tetcott Good Companions received a grant of £120 to cover the cost of hiring the village hall for 12 months.
Ashwater PTFA received a grant of £1500 towards play equipment for the school.
Dear Tetcott Community Fund
I am writing to you on behalf of Ashwater School PTFA to thank you for your kind donation towards the play equipment for Ashwater school. We managed to reach our £10,000 fundraising target before the summer break and were able to have the play equipment installed during the holidays. The children have now been able to enjoy playing on it.
The decision was made with the teachers to have a wooden trail installed which would mean it would have something that would appeal to the whole age range of children in the school. Please find attached some photos of the play equipment. If it wasn’t for your generous donation we would not have been able to go ahead and have this installed so quickly. We are really grateful for your support, and the children are thrilled to have this equipment to play on to help develop their climbing and balancing skills.

Tetcott and Luffincott Parish Council were awarded a grant of £2160 to pay for the installation of security cameras around the village hall. They cover the car park and play equipment and hopefully deter any would be vandals and anti social behaviour.
